Hi, I’m Angela.

  • Angela of Eco & Ivory - Eco-Friendly Wedding Planner in Pittsburgh

I help thoughtful couples plan a purposeful wedding through curating sustainable vendors and impactful details.

Although I don’t have any piercings or tattoos and I don’t own a pair of Birkenstocks, I definitely have a little flower child inside of me. And I know what it’s like to look at mainstream weddings and feel such a disconnect from them.

Weddings can be a roller coaster ride of emotions! But with my mental health counseling background, I bring empathy and knowledge of human interactions into every situation.

I would love to help you make your wedding more thoughtful, compassionate, and unique… more CONSCIOUS.

Our why

You’re laid back and nontraditional, and you want a celebration that holds more meaning and less waste. Let’s work together to change the world, one wedding at a time.

  • "Having experience in the wedding industry first hand, we saw how much waste occurred with weddings and were interested in sustainable options. We appreciated that you helped us be more sustainable in areas we didn't even think about and offered suggestions. Also, we didn't feel judged by our decisions."

    Kelly & Elliott S.

  • "Sustainability was a very important part during our decision-making process. We wanted to make as little of a footprint as possible, and Angela was the absolute best resource for that!"

    Val & John V.

  • β€œThere was a lot to take care of on my wedding day. I needed help. [Angela] was supportive and knew where I needed the extra help to get through the day. If you’re looking for someone to help you decorate or plan your wedding, I absolutely recommend her!”

    Natalie B.

  • "You handled everything perfectly! The thing I appreciated most is that you treated everyone with such kindness, care, and respect."

Why host an eco-friendly wedding?

  • Reduce your ecological footprint.

The average wedding produces 400 lbs. of garbage and 63 tons of carbon dioxide, the same amount of emissions as 5 people produce in an entire year. By making even a few sustainable choices, you can reduce waste and the impact your wedding or event will have on the environment.

  • Support green business.

The wedding industry is a $70 billion a year industry. Investing this kind of money in sustainable businesses will help to increase their demand while reducing the substantial impact that this industry has on the environment.

  • Educate others.

Hosting an eco-friendly event is a chance to showcase your values and inspire others to learn more about sustainability. It can also be a way to educate event vendors and encourage them to take on more sustainable practices.

β€œGreen Has Become mainstream, but wedding professionals have been slow to catch up. Angela is a real leader in the industry.”
