Eco-Friendly Wedding Planning in Pittsburgh, PA
There are a ton of decisions to be made during the wedding planning process.
And these decisions multiply when youβre trying to go eco-friendly. You want someone to help you navigate the sea of options and wedding inspiration out there.
Hi, Iβm Angela.
-
I help thoughtful couples plan a purposeful wedding through curating sustainable vendors and impactful details.
Although I donβt have any piercings or tattoos and I donβt own a pair of Birkenstocks, I definitely have a little flower child inside of me. And I know what itβs like to look at mainstream weddings and feel such a disconnect from them.
Weddings can be a roller coaster ride of emotions! But with my mental health counseling background, I bring empathy and knowledge of human interactions into every situation.
I would love to help you make your wedding more thoughtful, compassionate, and unique⦠more CONSCIOUS.
Why

Why host an eco-friendly wedding?
-
Reduce your ecological footprint.
The average wedding produces 400 lbs. of garbage and 63 tons of carbon dioxide, the same amount of emissions as 5 people produce in an entire year. By making even a few sustainable choices, you can reduce waste and the impact your wedding or event will have on the environment.
-
Support green business.
The wedding industry is a $70 billion a year industry. Investing this kind of money in sustainable businesses will help to increase their demand while reducing the substantial impact that this industry has on the environment.
-
Educate others.
Hosting an eco-friendly event is a chance to showcase your values and inspire others to learn more about sustainability. It can also be a way to educate event vendors and encourage them to take on more sustainable practices.
βGreen Has Become mainstream, but wedding professionals have been slow to catch up. Angela is a real leader in the industry.β
